Terms and Conditions
1. The service provider may substitute another service provider to perform the job required on the above contract.
2. The service provider warrants that the substituted service provider is a competent professional.
3. It is understood that the service provider is the exclusive official videographer/photographer retained to perform the services requested on this contract.
4. 60% non-refundable deposit must be paid in full to the service provider before any service is performed. Failing to do so will result in the service being cancelled.
(a) Client can be refunded if the service provider fails to provide the service due to unforseen circumstances.
(b) The service provider must be early, if he/she is late with 30 minutes the client can cancel the shoot and request the initial deposit. Weather conditions, accidents & traffic can cause the service provider to be late, in this case the service can not be cancelled.
5. The remaining amount must be paid in full on the day of the event.
6. Delivery of the products:
(a) A preview (pictures) must be sent within 48hours via google drive link. Should the client request a preview video it must be sent within 48 hours.
(b) Digital pictures will be sent within 10 working days via google drive link.
(c) A video and printed pictures (if applicable) will be sent 6 weeks after the shoot.
(d) The products will only be delivered to the client who signed the contract.
(e) A storage fee 5% of the total price will be added every month if the product is not paid for.
(f) Should the client/s loose the video, another video can be sent to the client/s at a fee.
7. The client must be in time for the shoot, if he/she is late a fee of R100 an hour will be charged.
(a) a client must notify the service provider 48 hours before shoot of any changes of the venue.
(b) a client is responsible for the entry fees of the venue if any.
8. If the job is charged per hour in the event, the counting of hours will start exactly at the hour stated on the contract.
9. The service provider can cancel the contract should unforseen circumstances arise.
10. The client is liable for any damage of the equipment during shoot if the equipment is damaged by the client, client’s relatives or client’s friends.
11. The service provider owns copyright of all photographs and videos. They can be used for marketing purposes.
12. The service provider is not responsible for distraction caused by bad weather conditions e.g Thunderstorm and Heavy rain.
13. Should the venue for the function be more than 250km from the service provider's office, suitable accommodation should be provided for the service provider.
14. Transport fees will be charged at R5 per kilometre from the service provider's office(Amanzimtoti).
